Anna-Katharina Wurst is a research associate at the Department of Media and Communication at LMU Munich, where she works in the DFG-funded project "Taking a stance or feigning responsibility? Corporate Socio-Political Positioning" Corporate Socio-Political Positioning (COSPO)" under the supervision of Dr. Marc Jungblut (LMU Munich) und Prof. Dr. Thomas Koch (JGU Mainz). She is involved in international research projects focusing on political party communication on social media, with a particular emphasis on the use of automated and data-driven methods. In her PhD project, she analyzes the user comments in response to political parties' social media communication. She holds degrees in computational linguistics (M.Sc.) and German linguistics (M.A.) from LMU Munich.
